Hey! I am Laynie Derry, one of the Transitional Specialists here at the Dale House Project. I graduated from Georgia College & State University with a Bachelors of arts in Sociology and a minor in Rhetoric. The past ten months I worked as a Foster Care Case Manager all throughout middle Georgia, and truly found my passion for social work - never thought I would say that! In my free time I talk about my dog CHUNK, write, craft, attempt to get better at guitar, and occasionally read.  I was drawn to work for the Dale House Project because the uniqueness this ministry offers, combining many of my passions. - I believe Jesus calls his followers to sit alongside the heartbreak of this world, break for those whose hearts are broken, and in turn find joy in the reality that only he has authority! I am not sure what to expect but I look forward to my time here at the Dale House Project!
